Welcome to VSA Mercat Bookstore

Volunteers have been at the heart of the VSA’s work since the very beginning. And today is no different. The bookshop is run almost entirely by volunteers who love giving up their time to provide the local community with new and old books, DVDs and CDs.

All of the items in the bookshop are donated by members of the public and all the proceeds go directly to our services supporting some of the most vulnerable people across the North East.
